The FII Level 2 Freediver course is perfect for spearfishermen and freedivers who have completed the FII Level 1 course, or are experienced with breath-hold activities, the correct use of freediving specific equipment, fundamental skills and hold good kinesthetic awareness.  During this course you will be introduced to your natural inborn aquatic abilities and instructed on specific techniques to unlock them. You will also learn of limitations the human physiology and physics the underwater environment impose on freedivers, how to recognize these thresholds and how to avoid crossing them.

 

The maximum depth of this course is 40meters/132 feet.

As a F.I.I. Level  2 Freediver you will use the following equipment:

• Low volume freediving Mask

• J-Snorkel

• Freediving Wetsuit

• 1-2 lb. hard Weights

• Rubber Weightbelt

• Freediving Fins

• Freediving Watch

 

Certification Level: Level 2 Freediver. Students are not required to dive the maximum depth of the course for certification. FII certifications are based on the skills and knowledge you will master throughout your course.

Course Duration: 3 day course

First day of the course is from 8am-4pm.

Second day is from 8am to 5pm.

Third day is from 8am-2pm.

 

Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old

It is mandatory to have taken the Fii level 1 freediving course or PFI intermediate course before attending the Fii level 2 freediving course.
