Cancellation, Make-up, Refresher or Crossover Policy

  • Once you have registered for a course the deposit is NON REFUNDABLE as this guarantees your spot in the course. Incase a course is postponed due to uncontrolled circumstances, or you have had a personal emergency your deposit can be used towards a future course date.

  • If you need to postpone your course to a future date please contact us a week before the first day of the course. Payments are NON TRANSFERRABLE and NON REFUNDABLE with notifications of cancellations later than a week before the course date. 

  • If you do not complete your course on the first try you will have an entire year, free of charge (with an additional boat fee), to complete the course. This applies as long as we have extra available spots in future courses. Or the option to finish up in any of my training sessions is available as well.

  • If you have paid full price for the course ahead of time and will be needing to cancel the course entirely, the deposit is still non-refundable, but the remaining balance is eligible for a refund with a $50 admin fee.

  • PLEASE READ FOR MAKE-UPS OR REFRESHER COURSES

    • In order to see if a spot is available please contact us 1-2 days before the course date. There is always a possibility that a spot will open up after the first day of the course so you can try contacting us again on the night before the open water session.     • If you would like to take a refresher course you will need to send a photo of certification before the course and as long as we have extra spots it is free of charge (with an additional boat fee). 

    • In order to join a make-up day or a refresher course a new set of documents need to be filled out and brought to the course. You can find the links for the documents below.

    • Spots are limited so if a course is full we will not be able to accomodate more students to control quality of the course

    • If you would like to reserve a spot at any time for a make-up or a refresher course the full payment of the course will need to be made.

      • PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO COMPLETE YOUR MAKE-UP COURSE. IF THE YEAR LAPSES SINCE YOU FIRST TAKEN THE COURSE YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY AGAIN.

Certification Crossover Policy:

1. Your instructor: Daniel Koval, will need a Photocopy both sides of the certification(s) from your previous freediving education agency before the first day of your course for you to join.

 

 

2. When sending your certification via email : Daniel@deepfreediving.com please include a short summary explaining your level of experience.

 

3. Fii (Freediving Instructors International) only recognizes the following freediving education agency certifications:

  • AIDA

  • Apnea Academy (excluding USA and Canada)

  • CMAS

  • IANTD

  • NAUI

  • PADI

  • PFI

  • SSI

 

4. In order to take part in the Fii level 2 freediving course an equivalency certification to the Fii level 1 freediving course must be obtained.
